Position Details

Student: Individual class for 2 adults Availability: Gentleman: Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday between 6:00pm - 8:00pm, Saturday between 9:00am - 11:00am; Lady: mornings between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm or Mon/Tue/Wed between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm Duration: 1.5 hours each Preferred start date: ASAP Lesson Frequency: 2x per week Delivery method: Face-to-face lessons Lesson location: Setia Residen, Sitiawan, Perak Current target language level: Beginner & Intermediate level Student's language needs and goals: Gentleman - daily conversation and discuss more details with the student. Lady - Grammar, Building vocabulary, Listening comprehension tips and strategies, Reading and writing, Pronunciation and local accents, Common phrases native speakers use every day, Conversations with native speakers, Safety and emergency information, Sharing feedback and opinions, Parenting in the new country, Holiday celebrations, Ordering at restaurants , Going to the doctor, Texting, Popular hobbies or interests in the new country, A guide to shopping, Giving compliments, How to learn a language faster, Phone calls , Making friends

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students. Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners' proficiency levels and objectives. Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals. Communicate professionally and effectively with students, ensuring a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

Native or near-native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken. A degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field. At least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a language context.
