AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Develop, own and evergreen IT Infrastructure standards and roadmap for the Group. Aligned to Group objectives, evaluate, test and recommend solutions/standards to be adopted by the Group. Delivery of a challenging customer focused service, managing large scale activity to meet defined performance indicators and business strategies. Design, test, implement and transition to Operations, IT & Digital Solutions, meeting project requirements. Lead, track, manage specific infrastructure streams assigned within projects and programs. Providing expert advice and guidance on complex issues verbally and/or through written reports. Including professional advice/support across the department and/or organisation and tackling difficult problems of a technical, professional, resource or people related nature. Strong knowledge in Cloud Technology Knowledge in coding would be an added advantage (e.g. Python, Java, etc.) Familiarity with IAC tools would be an added advantage (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.) Familiarity with Platform Technology would be an added advantage. Keep abreast of technology updates, identify opportunities and provide recommendation for improvements on the Group IT Infrastructure Establish a strong working relationship with Digital Architect, Application Architect and Data Architect Leadership role: Serve as focal point for Group IT Infra Project Delivery matters related to cloud technology. Manage stakeholders\' expectations and change management aspects with respective Business Groups (BG). Initiate, manage and drive the improvement, transformation and innovation initiatives for group IT e.g. standardization, simplification, consolidation, cost management, etc. Continually seek opportunities to increase internal client satisfaction and deepen client relationships. Communicate effectively with internal clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. Identify and provide practical frameworks and standards for information gathering, analysis and reporting. Remain on the Technology forefront of emerging industry practices. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience Proven experience in Digital Transformation or equivalent. Proven experience in helping organization emphasize emerging technologies that leads to digital transformation Exposure in Capability Maturity Model Integration, Agile and/or DevOps Good knowledge in ITSM/ITIL processes and project management methodology. Experienced in managing vendors in terms of quotation, scope of work, delivery timeline and costs Relevant work experience in regional countries is an added advantage. Characteristics Strong leadership, analytical, communication and planning skills. Highly result-oriented and can work as a team and also independently Ability to build productive rapport and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders/vendors Strong in teamwork, adaptability, high level of stress tolerance Good written and communication skills - understand how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Experienced in delivering informative, well-structured and engaging presentations Ability to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion. Education/Professional Qualification/Experience A recognized Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent Preferably cloud architecture certification or equivalent Preferably TOGAF certified professional Preferably possess a Project Management certification i.e. PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Certification in Agile, CMMI & DevOps will be an added advantage Business Knowledge/Special Skills Knowledge in architecting cloud solution, preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS Knowledge in Digitizing Infrastructure, containerization, IAC (Infrastructure as code) with familiarity Cybersecurity will be an added value. Robust technical skills in server hardware, backup, storage, cloud hosting and virtualization technologies. Excellent in problem formulation which able to define issues that need to be addressed with additional variables and relationships that possibility effect resolution. Excellent in consensus building which able to communicate well for issue, design solution and process that requires cooperation and agreement from IT stakeholders involved. Excellent in problem-solving with strong analysis, troubleshooting, research, evaluation and solution shaping for all stakeholders concern. Excellent in solution realization with proposals that effectively addresses concerns raised by all stakeholders.
