Role Overview

MetLife is seeking Enterprise Infrastructure Engineers at various career stages (Associate to Senior) to design, implement, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure solutions. This role supports business operations by ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations & Support:

Provide lifecycle support for distributed and enterprise servers, storage, and virtualization platforms. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate complex issues as needed. Assist with configuration, patch management, and compliance activities.

Solution Implementation & Automation:

Deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions, including automation and network configuration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to security standards. Contribute to the adoption of cloud and emerging technologies.

Technical Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

Lead design and deployment of infrastructure projects; mentor and coach teams Develop modern infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements Provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative team environment. Oversee task allocation, monitor team performance, and support professional development. Drive optimization for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

Infrastructure Engineer: 5-10 years relevant experience.

Skills:

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills. Specialization & Proficiency in one or more of the following technologies: Windows/Linux/UNIX, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), storage (SAN/NAS), Routing/Switching, data replication, Database (SQL/Oracle) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Familiarity with monitoring, automation tools and security compliance. Experience in Solutions Design & Engineering will be an added plus

Preferred Certifications:

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, AWS, Azure) are a plus. ITIL v4

Language:

Business proficiency in English. Proficiency in Japanese will be an added bonus

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM11,969.52 per month
