What does an Enterprise Planning and Program Manager does at HP: Determines operational objectives by studying business data gathering information and evaluating opportunities. Understand and analyze data as per customer or channel partner RAD Segmentation and able to identify business opportunities to improve pan HP portfolio and business focuses. Run program to focus on business opportunities. Aligning with quota setting process and able to plan activities for sales deployment readiness. Monitors project progress by tracking activity resolving problems publishing progress reports with recommendation actions. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess: Bachelor\'s degree in any discipline Experience developing positive relationships and solving problems Able to communicate and work with country sales managers of identified opportunities, and overcome objections from countries Partners effectively with pother stakeholders to ensure coordinated, efficient process management Experience developing positive relationships and solving difficult situation Basic understanding of IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel Skills include negotiation, communication, ability to influence others, rick taker, problem solver, and the project management skills Basic understanding oh HP\'s organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives Basic understanding of a specific set of HP\'s products, software, and services Able to work independently
