We are looking for someone with:

Knowledge of RCSA, Incident Reporting, Root Cause Analysis, Regulatory Reporting, and Insurance Products will be added advantage.

Tertiary qualification in Actuarial Studies.

Minimum 5 years\' experience in financial/operational risk management, product development or related area in the financial services industry.

Strong understanding of Operational risk issues and ability to provide constructive challenge to 1st line of defense in assessment of risk and its resolutions.

Ability to analyse data and make relevant observations and recommendations.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

On the job you will:

Periodically review and assess the on-going effectiveness of the country\'s risk management practices and recommend revisions as needed and report to CRO.

Lead the development and enhancement of risk measurement and risk oversight programs and practices and champion risk education throughout the country

Facilitate Country CRO ensuring business strategies and any specific compensation plans align with the country\xe2\x80\x99s strategic risk objectives and that each business is continuously driving their risk management processes and controls towards best practices.

Assess the design and execution of risk mitigation strategies and actions, including approved risk management strategies with primary focus on operational risk management.

Assess the integrity of internal risk data management and reporting and external risk disclosures.

Drive the initiative to communicate the country\xe2\x80\x99s Enterprise Risk Management framework, risk positions and risk management activities to key stakeholders.

Facilitate the Outsourcing Risk work streams for the country ensuring adequate mitigations are instituted to manage foreseeable risks.

Championing Project or Change Initiative Governance in line with MFC guide and policies.

Lead the operational risk management enhancement work streams mitigating foreseeable challenges.
