Job Description

We are looking for an

Environment Officer cum HSE Coordinator

to support and coordinate environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our projects and operations. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a safe workplace culture, and supports sustainability initiatives aligned with the company's standards.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with local regulations and company requirements. Support environmental initiatives, including waste management, pollution control, energy conservation, and sustainability practices. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with environmental and HSE requirements. Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and submissions to regulatory authorities and internal management. Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions. Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, contractors, and other stakeholders on HSE matters. Promote a positive safety and environmental culture among employees and contractors. Undertake other duties as assigned by the superior related to HSE coordination and environmental management.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field. Possess a recognized

OSH-C certification

or equivalent (an added advantage). Knowledge of environmental regulations, HSE practices, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001). At least 1-3 years of working experience in HSE or environmental-related roles, preferably in construction or property development. Strong coordination and reporting skills with attention to detail. Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Willing to work at Kulai
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
