Main Building Work

related projects To assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager to control and monitor all related Environmental, Safety & Health matters on the project. To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the Quality Management System. To promote use of process approach, risk-based thinking and life cycle perspective in the project. To promote customer focus and improvement in the project. To comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements. To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented. To ensure that applicable environmental, safety and health legal and other requirements are fulfilled. To promote environmental, safety and health awareness and conduct induction. To implement and monitor environmental, safety and health program at work sites. To monitor and control subcontractor's environmental, safety and health practices. To enforce the use of personal protective equipment, and continuously improve environmental, safety and health practices at workplace. To enforce the provision of firefighting equipment and first aid kits at workplace. To attend to, investigate and report any environmental, safety and health emergency, accidents, near miss accidents, incidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace. To conduct environmental, safety and health inspection and internal audits. To collect, analyse and maintain statistics on accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or diseases at the workplace. To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices. To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.

Requirements:

Diploma/Bachelor Degree (Preferred) in relevant discipline. Minimum 1.5 years (Environment, Safety & Health Officer) working experience in construction environment, with at least 1 year in a similar capacity. Must have JKKP registration (Green Book for Environmental, Safety & Health Officer). Familiar with OSHA requirements and knowledgeable in safety practices. Computer literate and familiar with MS Office. Site based work involving liaison with client representatives and/or consultants, sub-contractors, vendors & related parties for daily site operations Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills Related past work experiences in small to medium MBW will be added advantage Self-motivated & Pro-activeness in work are highly desired

Site Location Port Klang and Bandar Sunway : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
