ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes and operations for new and existing products.
  • Ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
  • Supervise Spare Management- Inventory, Enrollment and Forecasting
  • Ensure Quartz and Graphite Boat Availability, Maintenance and Repair.
  • Liase with engineering in releasing new products.
  • Develop system to maintain reports and record keeping
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel performance to ensure the efficient operation support
  • Supervise all operating lines within area of responsibility, execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities as scheduled.
  • Implement the Standard Operation Procedures and Practices (SOPP), Standard Maintenance Procedures and Practices (SMPP) and ensures that the Maintenance, Philosophies, Policies, Procedures and Interests are upheld and protected at all times.
  • Supervise the daily supervisor's report, accomplishment and performance report, monthly/weekly manpower shifting schedules and other necessary reports.
  • Coordinate with production supervisor, materials department, mechanical maintenance, maintenance planning, engineering and training for smooth flow of operations.
  • Attend and decide on whatever immediate decisions are required regarding process or mechanical concerns and issues that may cause threat, danger, or equipment damage.
  • Assist in conducting studies for improvement of mechanical systems/automation and in the revisions/updates of Maintenance Manuals.
  • Ensure all relevant shift-status reports are consolidated and submitted to concerned superiors.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as giving job assignments, training and orientation to new employees and checking their progress, preparation of work schedules, conducting periodic staff meeting, performance appraisal of staff, budget monitoring, recommendations for manpower movement and other related tasks.
  • Coordinate with Training Department on relevant matters pertaining to staff's continuous professional development.
  • Strictly observe all company, safety, environmental, housekeeping and administrative rules and regulations in and around the workplace.
  • Ensure proper custodianship of equipment in area of responsibility Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate, select and order equipment / spare parts that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products
  • Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues.
  • Define spare parts level and items and re-designs.
  • Define, write and develop preventative maintenance schedules.
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in either Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineeering or Materials Science
  • With at least 5 years experience as a Manager in an Electronic/Semicon/Solar Manufacturing Operations
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Engineering.
  • With knowledge in mechanical maintenance and installation standards and requirements. Computer Literate
  • Strong Leadership and Management Skills.
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English and good in written English
