Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled

Equipment Maintenance Technician

to perform preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and production lines. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment breakdowns. Inspect equipment regularly to detect potential issues and minimize downtime. Assist in equipment installation, setup, and calibration. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair reports, and parts usage records. Coordinate with the production team to ensure machines run efficiently and safely. Ensure all repairs follow safety standards and company SOPs. Monitor spare parts inventory and request replacements when needed. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Report any major issues or risks to supervisors and management promptly.

Requirements

Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 1-3 years experience in machinery or industrial equipment maintenance. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical wiring. Ability to read technical diagrams, manuals, and machine schematics. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Physically fit and able to work in manufacturing/industrial environments. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency breakdown calls.

Additional Advantages

Experience in PLC troubleshooting or automation systems. Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or GMP standards. Ability to perform welding, fabrication, or basic electrical work. Multiskill technician experience is a strong plus.
