Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of production machinery to ensure optimal performance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues as needed. Perform routine preventive maintenance according to the scheduled PM plan, including checks and services on all production equipment. Accurately document preventive maintenance activities on PM checklists and maintain records in the tool maintenance system. Assist in product conversion and machine modification activities in line with process requirements. Record details of unscheduled failures and maintenance activities in the system database. Collaborate with Shift Coordinators and Equipment Engineers to optimize PM cycle times, improve tool availability, enhance quality, reduce media scrap, and lower overall cost of ownership. Uphold 6S standards and support cleanliness in production lines and technical areas. Follow all safety regulations, cleanroom protocols, and company policies in daily operations. Support Tool Owners and Equipment Engineers with machine conversions, upgrades, and improvement projects.

Requirements:

Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic/Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. 3-8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with vacuum chamber systems. Experience in sputtering equipment or related machine maintenance. Knowledge of control systems and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). Skilled in using measurement tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. Ability to read and interpret schematic/circuit diagrams for troubleshooting purposes. Strong understanding of failure mechanisms, with the ability to isolate, identify root causes, and perform repairs. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and forum documentation. Effective team player with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of working cross-functionally with Production, Process, Yield, and Quality teams.
