Job Description

We are looking for an ESH Manager for our prestigious client in the industrial construction industry. This is an onsite position based on the project site e.g. Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Malacca, Selangor, Malaysia.Key Responsibilities:

• Align with the requirements of a domestic Safety Manager, with flexibility to the level of EHS Supervisor.
• Develop, implement, and manage EHS systems and policies for company operations in Malaysia.
• Ensure all operations comply with local and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
• Build and maintain a robust safety management system.
• Develop and implement EHS training programs to enhance employee awareness and competence.
• Recruit, train, and mentor a local EHS team.
• Provide ongoing support and development opportunities to empower the team.
• Utilize English as the primary working language.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports in English.
• Communicate effectively with international and local stakeholders.

• Min. 8 years of experience and an in-depth understanding of EHS management systems and standards.
• Ability to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with EHS management in foreign investment projects is preferred.
• Experience in building and leading an EHS team.
• Ability to train and empower team members.
• Prior education in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal. Experience presenting in English is essential.
