Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled

ESL Teacher

to provide engaging, high-quality English language instruction to both adult and young learners. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to tailor lessons to meet diverse learning needs and levels.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver interactive ESL lessons for adults and children across varying proficiency levels. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters confidence and language growth. Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and learning outcomes. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback. Incorporate multimedia, technology, and real-life contexts into lessons. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development as required. Communicate effectively with parents (for child learners) and adult students regarding progress and goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (Education, English, Linguistics, or related field preferred). TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent ESL teaching certification. Minimum 1-2 years' teaching experience with adults and/or children. Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills. Excellent spoken and written English. Ability to adapt teaching methods for different ages and learning styles.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience teaching both online and in-person classes. Creative, energetic, and patient teaching approach. Cross-cultural sensitivity and enthusiasm for working with diverse learners.

Schedule & Compensation:

Minimum of

19 teaching hours per week

, with potential for additional hours. Hourly rate only based on qualifications and experience Short term contract with potential for long term as and when needed
