English Language Instructor Responsibilities Teaching: Teach assigned ELS academic programmes as directed by the Academic Director or Academic Coordinator. Create lesson plans, exercises, and tests. Test, evaluate, and provide feedback to students on their classroom performance. Foster a conducive learning environment in the classroom. Coordinate instruction, attendance records, and evaluations with other teachers. Administrative Adhere to Centre policy and procedures. Complete necessary administrative paperwork and maintain performance and attendance records. Maintain Centre resource materials and files. Refer non-academic problems to the appropriate staff. Participate in professional development activities and attend administrative meetings. Professional Development Be open to professional observation and observe others for development purposes. Develop or refine teaching materials at the local level. Participate in activities during scheduled class hours and disseminate information about after-class activities. Contribute to the maintenance of neat classrooms, staff workroom, and staff lounge. Emergency Situations Be available for emergency substitution when no reasonable alternatives are available. Education Minimum Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Education or B.A./B.Sc. CELTA or other TEFL/TESOL certification (Minimum 120 hours) Experience At least 4 years of relevant ESL/EFL teaching experience, including both in-person and online teaching. Personal Characteristics Possess cultural sensitivity and enthusiasm for teaching international students. Show empathy for the challenges of learning English as a second language. Excellent communication and organization skills. Desire for continuous professional development and sharing of best practices. Commitment to delivering high standards of instruction.
