Job Description


The Ethics and Compliance Specialist supports the APAC Regional Ethics and Compliance Manager in developing and implementing regional and country-specific policies and programs, while also providing expertise in policy management, training, communication support, and document review. You actively contribute to promoting the organization\'s commitment to ethics and compliance, detecting and deterring potential violations, and assisting in compliance projects and group administration tasks.

Responsibilities:

Policy Management:

  • Assist in the development, review, and updating of ethics and compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure policies are effectively communicated, implemented, and adhered to throughout the organization.
  • Support policy training initiatives and provide guidance on policy interpretation and application.
Compliance Training and Communication:
  • Assist in planning, executing, and evaluating ethics and compliance training programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop training materials and deliver training sessions.
  • Support the communication of ethics and compliance-related information to employees, promoting awareness and understanding.
Compliance Reviews and Investigations:
  • Conduct compliance reviews and assessments to identify areas of potential risk or non-compliance.
  • Assist in the development and execution of compliance monitoring and auditing activities.
  • Support internal investigations of potential ethics and compliance violations, including gathering and analyzing evidence, interviewing relevant parties, and preparing investigation reports.
Ethics & Compliance Program Support:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the ethics and compliance program, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of compliance records, documentation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify compliance gaps and recommend process improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Training:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and support on ethics and compliance matters.
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees to promote ethical behavior and compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Serve as a resource and point of contact for ethics and compliance-related inquiries and concerns.

  • High standards of ethics and professionalism and passionate in supporting the organization\'s commitment to a strong ethics & compliance culture.
  • Bachelor degree or above from a reputable university.
  • 3+ years of work experience, experience in business analytics and risk assessment preferred.
  • Big 4 accountancy firm or reputable law firm experience is preferred. Professional certificates are a plus.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English. Mandarin is a plus.
  • Good reporting and data mining skills.
  • Proficient skills of Excel.
  • Result oriented and willing to learn and use new tools and systems.
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills.
  • Be able to meet demanding deadlines.
  • Some business-related travel may be required within the region.
