Job Description

Lead data migration analysis and develop the overall migration strategy and plan. Collaborate closely with data owners, business stakeholders, architects, application teams, and the integration lead to understand requirements and define the data migration approach. Assess development efforts and propose a cost-effective, scalable, and reusable data migration model suitable for regional implementation. Oversee end-to-end data migration delivery across both source and target systems. Clearly articulate problem statements and provide effective solutions and recommendations to support management decision-making. Provide regular progress updates, highlighting project risks and issues to key stakeholders and project/program managers. Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables for the data migration initiative.

Job Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines. 10-12 years of IT experience as a Technical Lead or Data Migration Lead. Strong communication and writing skills. Experience in large-scale data migration projects for policy administration systems within the insurance industry. Solid business understanding of Life Insurance, including new business, policy servicing, distribution management, account management, claims management, and customer experience. Strong understanding of systems connected to policy administration platforms and related data dependencies. Experience working in a regional delivery model with the ability to design reusable, scalable, and efficient migration solutions. Ability to plan and strategize data migration go-live activities. Knowledge of ETL tools and SQL, with the capability to support Data Engineers in resolving issues and identifying solutions.

Salary Range:

Up to RM15,000.00
