Summary:

As an ETL Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the Business Intelligence & Data Management team by developing, maintaining, and enhancing data warehouse and business intelligence applications. You will be responsible for executing development projects, supporting system operations, and ensuring high-quality data solutions that meet business needs. This role requires strong technical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Project Development & Implementation

Execute ETL and BI development tasks with urgency and precision. Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to define and deliver solutions. Ensure standardization of documentation and tracking of project statuses. Deliver enhancements and new applications on time and within scope.
System Support & Maintenance

Maintain and support existing data systems post-implementation. Ensure knowledge transfer from solution providers for internal support. Continuously improve system performance and business value delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with internal teams, users, and external vendors. Maintain strong relationships to ensure smooth project execution and support.
Governance & Process Improvement

Promote best practices in data governance and development methodologies. Participate actively in process optimization and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience:

ETL Tools: Apache Kafka, Kafka Steam/Connect, Apache Flink SQL: Oracle SQL Developer, SQL scripting Business Intelligence Tools: QlikView Programming Languages: Java Operating Systems: MS Windows, Unix Development Methodologies: SDLC, Agile/Scrum

Soft Skills:

Good command of English (written and verbal) Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders Strong commitment to project timelines and quality Willingness to continuously improve personal skills and knowledge

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM9,999.00 per month
