Assist in developing banquet sales budgets and marketing plans.
Execute, supervise and promote the marketing of ballroom facilities and business centres to existing and potential clients.
Achieve sales/ profit goals of events operation.
Coordinate with operation and service staff on ballroom turnovers and other tasks to ensure events are well executed.
Respond to prospect inquiries, conduct tours and meetings for prospective events and sell events.
Oversee the development/ preparation of contracts for all banquets/ weddings.
Work with Senior Marketing Executive to determine selling prices and menus for events.
Schedule all banquet functions, price and prepare event proposals, collect signed contracts and deposits.
Ensure satisfaction by communicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes, substitutions or special requests and following up with client at the conclusion of the event.
Ensure all accounts are properly updated in the banqueting system.
Prepare reports on ballroom sales activities and monitor/ measure banquet performance.
To handle events over the weekends.
Perform other related duties as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Hospitality/ Hotel Management or equivalent.
Minimum 2 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years experiences in Events & Ballroom coordination and management.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Competency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
Highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented.
Must be marketing-focused with a positive working attitude.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
