An exciting Event Production Manager (Agency) job has just become available at one of the most respected global event firms based in Malaysia. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, this is a role for a Events production Manager who is a leader in their field. About the Event Production Manager (Agency) Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for every aspect of an event\xe2\x80\x99s creation from initial concept through final execution. This includes everything from sourcing vendors and equipment to managing budgets and timelines. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific event requirements
  • Develop and implement event plans and concepts, creating comprehensive event proposals including timelines, venue options, supplier selection, legal considerations, staffing, and budgets
  • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable venues, suppliers, and contractors, negotiate prices, and secure necessary arrangements
  • Oversee and manage all event logistics, including venue coordination, catering arrangements, and travel logistics
  • Coordinate with the PR team to effectively publicise and promote the event
  • Take charge of pre-event planning, which includes organising guest speakers and preparing delegate packs
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing clear briefings and ensuring smooth coordination
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and insights for future event improvements
  • Proactively identify opportunities for acquiring new clients and expanding event offerings
To succeed in the Event Production Manager (Agency) job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior business development teams, across borders and internal matrix. Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrated work experience in event management
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful events previously managed is highly desirable
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective client interactions and internal communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sales abilities and the capability to establish productive business relationships
  • Exceptional organisational skills, including attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple projects independently, and proficient time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Docs (Sheets, Slides)
  • Minimum of four to five years of relevant work experience
