Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Requirements

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines.

• CGPA: 3.0 or WAM: 70% or 5/7 or 5/9 or B or 2:1 (2nd Class Upper).

• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA or equivalent is an added advantage.

• Short term contract up to 1 year.

Experience

• 4 to 7 years of working experience in finance and accounting related work, preferably in oil and gas industry.

• Knowledgeable in accounting standards and statutory requirements as well as experience in complex working environment.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare financial statements and perform financial performance analysis, provide insights and highlighting areas of concern to the Management.
• Review and analyse the overall preparation, consolidation and production of quarterly actual/projected impairment assessment and monthly cash flow statement.
• Execute consolidation activities and produce audited financial statements for purposes of statutory by facilitating external audit procedures, analyse financial position and ensuring timely submission of financial reports
• Prepare income statements and balance sheet with the approved basis of preparation for submission.
• Prepare financial information to various external parties by compiling the information from various sources and safeguard confidentiality of company financial information.
• Review preparation and consolidation of quarterly impairment assessment for business units for actual and Year End Projection.
• Execute SAP system related tasks for the maintenance of accounting period and issuance of month end process schedule, maintenance chart of accounts in SAP and controlling area.
