Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

• Responsible for customer order management, material and production planning for Spare Part value stream.
• Liaise with customers on orders fulfillment with effective coordination internally in addressing issue.
• Track and analyze customer demand trend and forecast accuracy for inventory control.
• Maintain proper record on relevant data or system set-up.
• Prepare production schedule to meet customers\' demands and achieving the targeted service level.
• Track and report the daily schedule vs. production actual output.
• Responsible for material planning to ensure the steady flow of materials necessary to support the manufacturing lines.
• Schedule and follow up delivery and release scheduling agreement to supplier.
• Manage backlog & unfulfilled orders: Close follow up with planners to drive backlog reduction & timely update of recovery status to BU/LOG & PT-ASA.
• Work with suppliers, and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations.
• Set up material master for new SKUs in relevant interface i.e. PPT, P13 etc.
• Handle manual and ad hoc sales orders.
• Set priorities with the logistic department on the movement of material for timely shipment.
• Arrange and attend the regular meeting with customer to review fulfillment and delivery status.
• Work closely with other function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements.
• Support and prepare management reporting as and when necessary.
• Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Degree in any discipline with minimum 3 years related working experience.
• Experience in material planning and/or production planning and/or purchasing is an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Problem solving is essential.
• Meticulous, result oriented, motivated.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office is a must. SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
• Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners is essential.
• Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
