Job Description

:

: * Review the analysis on business performance prepared by Group Financial Controller vis-a-vis generating cross inter-business issues and alignment and recommend interventions/mitigations to the Management for further division and Group wide improved performance.

• Review and challenge the Corporate Plan & Budget/P4R prepared by Group Financial Controller and an effective budgetary control system for the International Holding Companies, in order to deliver agreed cost targets, cost optimizations and ensure integration and cost recoverability as well as alignment with PETRONAS objectives and strategies, whilst ensuring compliance with internal governance requirements.
• Timely monitoring of inter-company balances in ensuring no long ageing balances between all International Holding Companies (PETRONAS, PCSB, PEPOV) with all international entities in collaboration with GFS and GFC teams. Coordinate the timeline and submission from all international entities on finalization of agreement between International Holding Companies companies with international entities (TOSA, MSA PETH, MSA ICT, TMSA, MOA, etc.) with optimum leakage to the Group and company. Plan, execute and coordinates the establishment, implementation and ensure an efficient and effective mechanisms for intercompany transactions including the charging out of costs from IHC to international entities. • Review Instruction for Payments and Process Directors for approvals, prepare/review board papers with relevant COEs or Assets, ensure sufficiency of cash and budget, perform budget transfer timely and review vendor creation/updates in PD for approval.
• Expert in SAP and excellence for Upstream International Countries in the areas of SAP implementation, integration and onboarding in view of the significance of SAP Joint Venture Module for new international entities, particularly in the design and data migration.

Qualification:

• Degree in Accounting / Economy / Commercial
• Possess professional qualification in accounting such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Malaysian Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) would be an added advantage.

Requirement:

• Minimum 10 years in oil, gas and petrochemicals industry.
• Possess sound SAP technical knowledge and experience in using SAP core modules related to Finance especially in JV module would be an added advantage.
