Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Supervise the civil/building maintenance contractors to ensure MMASB/ALAM buildings and equipment's would receive proper maintenance for civil works. Organize, coordinate and monitor all plan approved projects (new and renovation) and all construction works under department supervision to ensure all projects and plans meet timeline and implemented in most safe and efficient manner. Monitor civil/landscaping vendors to ensure works are carried out timely and accordance to specification/contract agreement through site-visit, inspection and supervision. Coordinate with engaged professional consultant to ensure design and planning accordance to MMASB/ALAM requirement through discussion, presentation and meeting. Develop a comprehensive Technical Scope of Work and Bill of Quantities to reduce the technical clarifications during bidding. Participate during tender evaluation and serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on all civil/structure related engineering issues including landscaping (not limited to risk engineering, system integrity and applicability to specifications, philosophies, and standards). Plan and prepare annual CAPEX budget for FMSD to ensure consistency and in line with company's strategies. Prepare project's progress report on quarterly and yearly basis for management information. Monitor and update building material database for tracking, auditing, planning and budget references. Inspect buildings to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall and roof porosity, and access to infested locations. Plan and ensure pest control activities as treatment and extermination processes to eliminate and control rodents, insects, and weeds. Ensure all preventive maintenance for civil/landscaping are made based on schedules to avoid sudden interruptions. Develop and maintain a healthy working relationship with users, vendors and authorities to gather information to facilitate operational efficiency. Provide full corporation to the department with respect to the safe use of facilities/equipment in the campus and assist development of new civil project when necessary. Support the Instructor where necessary.
EXPERIENCE:

At least 7 - 10 years of working experience with a minimum of 3 years involvement in project management. Good in MS Word and MS Excel.
QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's in engineering majoring in Civil/Building or other relevant qualification.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
