Assist in the Integration, Operational Readiness & Transition (ORAT), Operation & Maintenance (O&M) and Stakeholder Management teams for new Automated People Mover Project especially on development of System Interfacing & Coordination, ORAT, O&M Concepts, the development and execution of training plans, trial plans, coordination, mobilization and move plans to ensure newly APM system is serviceably ready for operation as per project timeline.
Essential Position Functions
Assist in the Integration, System Inferfaces & Coordination, Operational Readiness & Transition (ORAT), Operation & Maintenance and Stakeholder Management teams for newly Automated People Mover especially on development of Operational Concepts, the development and execution of training plans, trial plans and mobilization and move plans to ensure newly APM system is operationally ready at the time of opening.
Early participation in the Design Development - design reviews for various elements of the program to jumpstart the APM Integration, System Interfaces & Coordination, ORAT process and Operation & Maintenance with the live operations of the KLIA airport to ensure System Interfacing & Coordination and ORAT schedules are developed and integrated into Project Construction Master Schedules,
Provide proactive comments, critiques, identify operational and business constraints and recommendations on the design reviews with respect to their operations as they currently exist and/or future operational parameters in ensuring the APM is in good function and operational,
Assist to develop Operational Concepts and in the Stakeholder Engagement & Operational Interface Plan for new facilities and communicate those concepts to design teams utilizing any relevant reporting tools by Malaysia Airports,
Assist in establishing, managing timely engagement of Stakeholders, and maintaining strategic relationships with senior representatives of key stakeholders including Airport Community to ensure all stakeholders are engaged in the ORAT program,
Assist to develop a comprehensive plan for transition of operations from existing to new facilities covering the areas of facility maintenance, operations, commercial, communications, finance, training and information technology,
Assist to facilitate the creation of Technical subject matter expert teams to leverage expertise for the development
Ensure the highest degree of customer satisfaction on opening day of all new facilities by delivering on the transition plan and ensuring all systems, training and contingency plans are implemented,
Focus on ensuring technical systems meet their intended purpose, providing an effective framework to support staff operations and methodically trialing components of all systems and developing mitigation plans to address any issues or deficiencies in the systems along with corrective action plans.
Assist the management of System Interfacing & Coordination to ensure successful integration of the new APM system
Assist to manage the System Acceptance including Conformance to the System Compliance Verification Matrix, timely and succesful issuance of Certificate of Sectional Completion, Cetification of Practical Completion, Certificate of Final Acceptance and Certificate of Making Good.
Assist in the management O&M of the New APM system including the development and review of O&M Management Plan, Maintenance Plan, Rule Book, relevant manuals, trainings and Life Cycle Costing to ensure successful delivery and execution in preparation for the O&M phase of the Project.
Key Challenges
To ensure the APM design, operational process, testing & commissioning program is updated and implemented accordingly.
To Assist the MAHB ORAT Team and work together with the various technical team including the OEM\'s design team.

Strong technical expertise in Railway ORAT, possess technical skills in project management, aviation operations, training, documentation, communications, and/or operational or technology testing.
Experience, good understanding, and working knowledge in overall TTS solution including new technology and relevant authority bodies requirement.
Knowledge and experiences in Track Transit System is an added advantage.

Recognised Engineering Degree level qualified from an established university in the Malaysia/ UK/ US/ Canada/ Australia/ Singapore accredited by Boards of Engineer Malaysia
