The Junior Executive is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Data & Tariff Department. The role covers registration requests, inquiry handling, circulation issuance, maintenance tasks, general tariff purchasing activities, and various ad-hoc duties to ensure accurate and efficient departmental workflow.
Key Accountabilities Registration Requests
Register new service orders, new LDC sectors, new suppliers (local agent areas), and city names.
Ensure all registrations are completed accurately and on time.
Inquiry Handling
Respond to inquiries from Sales, Operations, and Quotation departments relating to:
Supplier information
Event information
Photos
Tariff checks
Tariff assignments
Ensure timely and accurate responses to support internal teams.
Circulation Issuance
Issue circulations for:
Tariff updates for POI, trains, cable-car, cruise, restaurants, human services, and transfers
Events such as marathons, strikes, races, and traffic restrictions
Service interruptions
Special exhibitions
Service tight information
Supplier and office operating hours
Natural disasters and terrorist attacks
Ensure all circulations are released timely with correct information.
Maintenance Tasks
Maintain and update:
Service orders
Databases as per Network Office (NWO) updates
Tariffs
Supplier information
Google Calendar (national holidays)
Ensure all systems and records remain accurate and up to date.
General Tariff Purchasing (Annual Task)
Coordinate with Network Offices (Japan & Asia markets) to manage annual tariff purchasing tasks.
Communicate deadlines, monitor progress, verify tariff inputs, prepare comparison sheets, update LDC sheets, and liaise with Sales Offices.
Obtain approval from Sales Headquarters and release source data and related circulars.
Ensure completion of the full tariff cycle within required deadlines.
Other Responsibilities
Handle tour message checks and pick-up tasks.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments from the Manager.
Prepare announcements and presentations for Quotation morning meetings.
Prepare accident checklist documents and coach information.
Job Context
The Data & Tariff Department is a centralized function responsible for managing and storing travel information. The department handles service order registrations, source data, city name updates in the Oscar system, and responds to inquiries from Sales and Operations directed to Network Offices (NWO) or Local Agents (L/A).

Internal:
Sales, Operations, Quotation Department, Network Offices
(Data & Tariff serves as a key information bridge across these departments and supports global markets.)
External:
Local Agent suppliers
(For countries not covered by NWO, the department liaises directly with local agents to obtain updated details.)
Work is governed by company policies, departmental SOPs, and the delegation of authority framework.
Major decisions or exceptions are escalated to the Team Leader or Manager.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Diploma or Degree in any field (Advantage: Tourism background).
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply (tourism experience is a plus).
Good English writing and communication skills.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
