Job Description
s:
- Preparation of submission of quotation and proposals
- Attend networking sessions and directing customer enquiries
- Negotiate and establish contract with shipping liner / carrier
- Provide various reports include weekly / monthly management and customer reports
- Request rate from service providers
- Maintain high standard of service delivery at all the times
- Performance analysis of ocean freight and customer service providers through KPI reporting tools and exception report
- Compilation & follow up daily operations
- Send forecast to carrier and ensure they are able to supply the quantity for the week.
- To monitor if any shipment is overbooked with carrier and coordinate with booking team for further action
- To support on container damage cases with carrier and customer
- Bachelor Degree in any field from a reputable and recognized University
- Minimum 5 years\' experience in freight forwarding industry
- Highly motivated, team oriented and able to work independently.
- Possess initiative and good analytical ability.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
