JOB PURPOSEBrings together theory and practical to identify and communicate with data-driven insights that allow effective decision-making process across all levels of the bank align with strategic growth in business planning.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage cost savings and efficiencies against department budget by set up specific goals in reducing cost.

• Perform analysis on deposit\'s data of the bank by using suitable statistical techniques specifically on customer perspective strategies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify, study, and interpret trends or patterns of the customer\'s deposit data.

• Produce analysis specifically for customer\'s retention strategies and product performances for sustainability growth.

• Collaborate and cooperate with other teams to improve data models related to deposit analysis that feed business intelligence tools across the bank.

• Engage or work directly with management and other relevant teams to understand and maintain focus on their analytical needs.

• Provide support to other teams on technical expertise related to built-up system, data storage structures and data mining.

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities specifically on the nature of deposit.

• Establish metrics or benchmark to evaluate business performance for achieving bank objective.

• Prepare and provide ongoing reports based on deposit analysis for the use of whole bank organization.

• Provide support in the identification of user needs related to development and enhancement of information reporting.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation:

• Bachelor in Statistics, Information technology Management or Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in any discipline with Honors.

Experience:

• Working experience in field related to statistics or data.
• Working experience as Data Analyst is an added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSSkills & Competencies:

• Microsoft Office (MS Words, MS Excel and MS Power Point).
• Experience in using statistical tools for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
• Good analytical, interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English verbally and in report writing.
• Possess a high level of integrity and able to work as a team.
• Strong administrative and management skills.
