Job Description

POSITION GENERAL SUMMARYPlan and direct the establishment and implementation of TTS operation and maintenance in KLIA in accordance with the specified maintenance standards and quality and in compliance to regulations set by the international and local authoritiesESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Plan, manage and supervise the daily works and preventive maintenance carried out by technician to ensure the works done are according to the specified maintenance standards and quality.
• Plan, manage, assess review the planned preventive maintenance and repairs works according to the specified maintenance standards.
• To coordinate with the O & M Executive on the planning, managing and supervising of the career development program of the Track Transit System unit as well as developing technically competent personnel .
• Inspect, monitor and provide technical advice on the operation and maintenance of the Track Transit System so as to ensure the system being operated according to the operational and maintenance standards..
• Execute the planned preventive maintenance of the Track Transit System.
• Consolidate and analyse system failures and suggest actions to improve the TTS system performance.
• Inspect, verify of all works, repairs, operational and planned preventive maintenance carried out by technician under supervision.
• Implementation and review the TTS documentation for ISO 9001 Certification namely unit\'s SOP, checklists and forms are are being complied and keep up to date the records.

Key Challenges

• High dependency on OEM spares. The pricing of spares keep on increasing in light of high material costs and risk exposure from their own supply chain management system. As technology change and evolve. TTS needs to keep abreast with technology change in terms of hardware computer networking and communication taking place in the market
• Dependency on the OEM train supplier as most of the system components are propriety in nature and could only be sourced from the train supplier. An effective and efficient of managing inventory of spares are essential in ensuring uninterrupted supply of spares which will result in major disruption to the operation of TTS..
• The train supplier OEM, faces the risks of parts obsolescence due OEM supply chain management vendor invented newer and better products.

• The employee must not be subjected to disciplinary punishments except for disciplinary counselling, caution, reminder & warning for the past 36 consecutive months immediately preceding the promotion

• Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0
