POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Manage the execution of the maintenance plans and ensuring maintenance works are carried out accordance to the specified maintenance standards, best practices and quality so as to ensure the serviceability and reliability of facilities as well as operational efficiency and cost optimization.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

• Ensure effective execution of maintenance program continually review the effectiveness of the maintenance strategy
• Responding immediately to facilities breakdowns
• Control and ensure compliance with local/international regulations and legislations for safe and efficient airport operation and maintenance
• Schedules, plans, organizes, coordinates and monitors PPM and Routine Maintenance activities
• Provides operational information to reliability team.
• Carrying out inspections on maintenance works so as to ensure quality and compliance with standards and instruction as well as timely completion;
• Coordinate with Operations on NOTAM request
• Monitors and manages contractors and suppliers from starting of contract to end of contract period
• Verification of works at site
• Maintains appropriate documentation of maintenance works, notifications and work orders
• Liaising with working stakeholders i.e ASU, auditors, procurement, other SUB divisions, etc
• Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned

• Increase of maintenance cost, staff cost and budget constraint for maintenance with high system service availability and reliability

• Managing external stakeholders i.e. Airline Operators, DCA

Skills

• Knowledgeable in pavement maintenance works preferably airport pavement maintenance works
• Possess updated knowledge in the latest technology in airport facilities, World Class Maintenance Management and project management
• Good working knowledge of contract management i.e construction, legal and value engineering
• Working knowledge in managing multiple vendors and contractors
• Good writing and communication skill
• Innovative, visionary, strong leadership skill, hardworking, has analytical and strategic thinking, able to work independently, multitasking

Relevant Industries

Unique Requirement

• Preferably a Member of the Institute of Engineers Malaysia and Registered with Board of Engineers of Malaysia

Internal

• Diploma with minimum 2 years relevant experience in Supervisory role OR
• Certificate/STPM with minimum 3 years relevant experience in Supervisory role OR
• SPM with minimum 5 years relevant experience in Supervisory role

External

• Degree holder with minimum CGPA 3.0 and minimum 1 year relevant experience.

Education

Internal

• Degree/Diploma/Certificate preferably with specialization in Civil Engineering
• STPM
• SPM with Credit in Bahasa Malaysia and Pass in English and Mathematics

External

• Degree preferably with specialization in Civil Engineering
