Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare various journal entries and perform various balance sheet accounts reconciliation like accruals, provision, prepayments, bank & cash and other accounts.
• Work with other departments to obtain information for GL accounts reconciliation and resolve issues in ensuring appropriate level of accrual for month end closing.
• Prepare and submit various monthly financial reports for management and corporate office that adhere to the company\'s accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with preparing various journal entries for overseas branch accounts as needed.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation as needed.
• Assist with year-end audit and other internal compliance audits.
• Support and work with the accounting team on day-to-day activities especially on ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business studies with a minimum CGPA 3.0 or 2nd class upper or with a professional qualifications i.e., ACCA, CPA.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in general accounting and financial management.
• Proficient in accounting standards i.e., MFRS, IFRS is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in using SAP system will be an added advantage.
• Ability to prioritize workload and flexible to changing priorities.
