JOB PURPOSE The Executive-Financial Reporting is responsible to support and manage the functions of Management Reporting and Statutory Reporting (Compliance), General Ledger transactional and accounts coding as well as day to day operations and administrative functions of Accounting & Taxation. In addition, he/she is expected to provide excellent customer service to both internal stakeholders and external parties. Monthly financial reports - responsible for accurate & timely financial reporting submission, with variance analysis of revenue and expenses Audited accounts - meeting deadline set for audited accounts & comply with accounting regulations (e.g. MPERS) Tax computation & submission - ensure deadline is met for tax submission & accuracy in tax payable Extraction and compilation of info and reports Tax matters - such as WHT (Withholding Tax), SST (Service Tax), etc AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES Management Reporting (Monthly Financial Reports) and Statutory Reporting Prepare, analyze & submit timely & accurate monthly financial reports Perform revenue and cost analysis and variance analysis vs budget, including project accounts. Revenue - assist to ensure Billing, Discount & Scholarship Report is uploaded into Accpac according to pre-determined format Assist to perform amortization for revenue and discount/scholarships given, ensure net revenue is accurate Merchandise revenue - ensure Billing, Collection Report is updated every month Expenses - ensure that accrual is done every month for accounts closing & the accrual list is prepared. Assist to perform cost control & historical data analysis Ensure that accrual accounting is done for revenue & expenses Prepare analysis of Balance Sheet items Prepare Inter-company reconciliation and Related party transactions report every month and at year end Update Fixed Assets Register Perform Bank Reconciliation Generate General Ledger (GL) Transactions listing & Programme P&L Account Assist to perform and verify cost allocation in TM1 Upload Budget data into SAGE system Extraction/compilation of info/reports - Perform financial analysis and compile financial data and information for use in preparation of reports as required by management and stakeholders External Audit Prepare audit schedules, analysis, and draft audited accounts Perform related party transaction and movement analysis & listing Assist to check audit adjustments Check and ensure the accuracy of the final audited financial statement Respond promptly to auditor\'s queries Taxation Prepare tax schedules and analysis Prepare the relevant forms for tax incentives, etc. Check and ensure accuracy of tax computation and forms Respond promptly to tax agent\'s queries with the objective to meet deadline for tax submission Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation Internal Audit Provide accurate financial data and reports to internal auditor Liaise with internal auditor Others Assist in tax matters such as withholding tax, SST, etc. and ensure compliance Assist to ensure compliance to regulations, accounting regulations & the relevant laws Involve in projects, systems, process relating to reporting & integration to the source system Participate in process improvement, standardization & execution Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time JOB SPECIFICATIONS MINIMUM ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION Preferably Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, or a partly completed Professional Certificate like ACCA, CIMA, CPA. RELATED EXPERIENCE Minimum 2 years relevant working experience using AccPac and TM1 system in handling full set of accounts and performing financial analysis. Candidate who does not have experience using AccPac and TM1 system will be trained.
