Prepare and implement sales action plans (e.g. plan sales routes, make regular calls/visits, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
Manage existing and develop new customer accounts to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives
General Responsibilities:
Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and plans (e.g. plan sales routes, new customer generation, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories.
Identify product gaps and improvement opportunities based on lost sales data, customer feedback, etc.
Provide timely feedback to team members on the execution of action plans and development areas
Understand customer values, strategies and policies based on networking of contacts throughout customers\' organizations to identify business opportunities
Prepare and implement sales action plans (e.g. plan sales routes, make regular calls/visits, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
Execute sales activities for assigned businesses/territories, including product portfolios and marketing plan introductions, order taking, marketing display set-ups and in-store merchandising
Prepare and/or review quotations, proposals and contracts to facilitate sales agreements
Marketing intelligence / report on the activities and products of the competitors.
Coordinate continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc. Track and collect payments from customers
Job Requirements:
Education Diploma or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in SALES related to the field is required for this position.
Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Food service/Horeca channel or equivalent.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers.
Demonstrate sound knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned territories/products/services and an existing network of contacts.
Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills.
Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills.
Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Able to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage.
