Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee all Housekeeping and Laundry operations to ensure the delivery of excellent service standards.
Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction, setting departmental goals and objectives accordingly.
Conduct regular inspections of all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance with established standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
Supervise and assess the performance of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, with a strong focus on training, teamwork, and service quality.
Ensure all staff maintain up-to-date knowledge of room categories, layouts, and available amenities.
Maintain accurate records and ensure proper inventory control of all linens, equipment, and departmental assets.
Ensure that duty rosters and staff leave schedules are properly planned and prepared, including scheduling for supervisors and below.
Assist with assigned administrative duties and departmental documentation.
Support in planning, organizing, and conducting training programs for Housekeeping staff.
Assist and relieve the Assistant Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisors as and when required.
