Executive, HSE (Health, Safety, Environment)

Working Days & Hours :

Working Hours: From 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Work Days: Monday to Friday only

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant working experience. Diploma / Degree in Safety, Health & Environmental Study. Must possess a valid

Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWAM)

certificate and be

registered with the Department of Environment (DOE) Malaysia

. Preferable with a valid Authorized Gas Tester (AGT) certification. Experienced in managing safety, health and environmental in the oil & gas/ship building/ship repair sector and able to manage suppliers, subcontractors and customers effectively. Basic Computer skills i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, etc. Proficient in English language, Malay language, both spoken and written. Mandarin will be advantage.

Job Scopes

Maintain safe working conditions and practices for all employees. Ensure good housekeeping in the project site. Ensure that adequate personal protective equipment is issued, maintained and used in accordance with safety rules and regulations. Encourage safety suggestions and act upon them immediately. Ensure that safety rules and regulations are complied with and explained to the employees and Contractor. Rectify all unsafe conditions and hazards at the project site Conduct regular Safety Meeting. Identify training needs in respect of safety skills. Carry out investigation against his employees of all serious, fatal and significant incidents including compiling reports and recommendations to prevent recurrence. In case of serious or fatal accident to follow up and ensure recommendations made are complied with. Conduct audits or survey whenever required or when he considers it to be necessary. * Undertake any other related by superior from time to time.
