Position Summary:

Plan and execute the development and implementation of Gas Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Incident, and Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Risk and Assurance Management Framework and Systems including procedures, guidelines and tools to effectively prevent incidents throughout all phases of the operations/activities within Gas and ensure business continuity in accordance to PETRONAS Policy, Governance, and objectives to safeguard PETRONAS businesses, its people, environment, asset and reputation (PEAR).

• HSSE Risk Management: Coordinate and execute the development of the Gas Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) Risk Profiling framework by consolidating and analyzing data related to emergency, crisis, and security issues from various sources, including Health Safety & Environment (HSE) performance, assurance findings, incident investigations, emerging regulatory requirements, learnings from similar industries, group directives, and business needs.
• HSSE Assurance Program and Implementation: Collaborate with key stakeholders to facilitate the establishment of a comprehensive Gas-wide Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Assurance Program.
• Incident Investigation: Plan and conduct incident investigations in line with PETRONAS incident investigation methodology which will ensure consistent and structured investigations, leading to accurate identification of incident causation for continuous improvement and prevention.
• Incidents Analysis & Recommendations: Lead and plan the development of incidents analysis and assurance findings. Collaborate with other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify root causes and establish intervention plans and strategic initiatives which will serve as inputs for the Health, Safety & Environment Management System (HSEMS) Management Review, influencing effective incident prevention initiatives and programs.
• HSE Technical Support: Coordinate and facilitate advisory services and technical support in areas of assurance, incident investigation, and the development/review of guidelines, procedures, and manuals which will help prevent recurrence and minimize harm to people, the environment, and assets.

Qualification:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering or related disciplines. An advanced degree or professional Certification in HSE will be added advantage.

Requirement:

• Minimum of 7-9 years of working experience in the oil & gas, energy, and chemical industry.
• Experience in HSE auditing, incident investigations, and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH).
• Strong knowledge in OSH Act.
• Experience engaging with relevant authorities as required (e.g., Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)).
• Computer literate with a good command of digital solutions.
