Job Description

:

• Carry out internal audit assignments, including JSOX as directed and carry out factual reporting of internal control deficiencies and fraud identified.
• Review and assess the soundness, adequacy and reliability of financial and performance management systems including compliance to JSOX
• Responsible to review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls to ensure company assets and interests are adequately protected
• Perform independent investigations and developing efficient, effective internal control activities and procedures in order to mitigate risks like allegations, fraud and irregularity.
• Responsible to ensure the compliance of legislation, company policies and procedures and contribute appropriate analysis and suggest improvement for controls, processes and procedures.
• Be informative, understanding, identify the processes or systems being audited (strengths & weaknesses) and develop an appropriate audit approach to achieve agreed audit objectives.
• Identify and develop cost-effective measures to mitigate overall exposure to operations/business risks when necessary.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills to compile, structure, analyze, and present datasets in order to evaluate and derive meaningful and actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting/Professional Qualification in Accountancy/Internal Audit (eg. CPA/CIA) or equivalent.
• Preferably candidate with SAP knowledge and risk management.
• Possess good command of English and literate with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in data analysis will be required for this role.
• Possess strong analytical skills, observance, good communication and interpersonal skills.
