Job Description
:: * Perform troubleshooting, provide technical input and engineering solutions to business in the area of asset deficiency, reliability, integrity and deviations in order to achieve operational excellence.
- Provide technical input and engineering solutions for various project phases such as Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), technical due diligence, plant change, and capital projects in order to achieve project excellence.
- Providing technical governance by implementing engineering standards and PETRONAS Technical Standards (PTS) in capital projects and technical services, advocate best practices to Group wide operations and projects and provide assurance on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Mandatory Control Framework execution.
- Execute the activities for development and continuous improvement of Piping discipline in line with identified pain points within the businesses / Operating Units (OPUs), to ensure group wide implementations of the chosen solutions.
- Conduct Asset Reliability Assessments by providing technical input for completeness and technical integrity, act as the Custodian for Mechanical Piping Specialized Solutions, and implement Standard Management Systems and Tools (e.g., AdAPT, pipe stress analysis, finite element modeling).
- Possess technical knowledge on Mechanical Static Piping competencies in oil and gas industry would be an added advantage
