Job Description

The Warehouse Engineer plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing warehouse systems, layouts, and workflows. This position focuses on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Warehouse Engineer collaborates across teams to integrate technology and streamline inventory and material handling processes.

A)Warehouse Design and Layout:

Develop efficient warehouse layouts to optimize storage, picking, and material flow.Evaluate and recommend material handling equipment (MHE) to improve productivity.Plan space utilization to accommodate current and future inventory needs.

B) Operational Efficiency:

Analyze warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse activities.Achieve KPIs and deliverables sets by Proton

C) Inventory Management:

Ensure accurate inventory tracking and control measures.Optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies.

D)Safety and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health standards.Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.Train staff on safe equipment operation and emergency procedures.

E) Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics.Provide technical support and training to warehouse staff.Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders effectively.

F) Cost Management:

Analyze operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.Assist in budgeting and forecasting for warehouse operations.Negotiate with vendors and suppliers for cost-effective solutions.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
