As an Executive, Occupational Health, Safety & Security, you will play a key role in ensuring workplace safety, managing building security, and supporting compliance with relevant statutory requirements. You will be responsible for implementing safety strategies, supporting fire protection measures, and engaging employees to foster a culture of safety and security.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Occupational Safety & Health
Support the development of Safety & Security strategies, policies, and plans
Support strategic commissioning and ensure the engagement and involvement of employees
Promote and communicate to employee on the Safety & Security
Collate, undertake analysis and report on progress against action plans and implementation.
Provide support, advice, and guidance to employees on the safety & security in terms of policy & guidelines including the implications of new legislation, changing service needs and demands and emerging employee issues
Produce clear and comprehensible reports and presentations for Management Review
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging issues and good practice to inform future policy development and best practice and to provide support, advice and guidance to managers and management on implementation of this good practice
Security & Safety
Assist in incidents, emergency procedures and security systems to ensure safety of employees and company assets
Provide training and awareness to other employees on security & safety
Roll out safety & security campaign
Assist in fire protection risk assessments in accordance with the relevant guidelines and standards with supervisory bodies (Bomba)/agencies and risk inspection of property insurer
Perform all safety & security related functions including, but not limited to, accident reviews, annual reviews, and take the lead on self-audits of all program areas
Participate in periodic self-audits conducted by the Corporate Compliance Department and Corporate Security APAC
Government Authorities
Assist to liaise with DOSH if any related to Safety
Assist to liaise with PDRM on the security
Assist to liaise with BOMBA on yearly fire protection safety
Assist in others government authorities in relation to safety and security matters
Governance on policies, procedures & processes related tasks
Ensure policies & procedures are adhered to in work execution
Assist in reviewing, monitoring and updating of related policies/working instructions
Monitoring and execution of ICS
Ad hoc projects tasks
Support ad hoc projects assigned from time to time
Qualifications
Education Level / Training
Bachelor of Environmental Health
Diploma in Security Management
Certified Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Officer
Experience (Type of)
Min 3 years experience in this area of work in an international corporate environment
Experience in handling Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH)
Proofs of continuous learning and development of skills and knowledge in the area of environment, health & safety (training certificates)

Strong OSH knowledge
Possess strong compliance towards work
Possess strong drive for solutions to situations and problems
Independent and self-driven personality
Professional in approach to work environment
Able to conduct work and business discussions across departments in a professional manner
Able to assist to complete review and reporting submissions timely and in an organized and professional way
Strong computer application knowledge
Good communications skills (verbal and written) in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other languages are of an added advantage
Good and approachable inter-personal skills
