Job Description

: Plan and execute the coordination and preparation of the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) accounting activities and the production of quarterly audited PSC accounts (QAA), forecasted Quarterly PSC entitlement (COEP & GEP) and periodic Restatement Accounts through liaison with auditors and relevant stakeholders in accordance with the PSC contract, procedures, guidelines and any applicable accounting standards to ensure accurate and equitable petroleum entitlement allocation, associated PSC contractual obligations and maximization of cost recovery. Plan and execute the coordination and monitoring of the PSC\'s cash call notification and joint interest billing activities on a monthly basis through syndications and collaboration with relevant departments for cash call and billing inputs in accordance with the terms and conditions of Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) to ensure timely and equitable funding by JV partners while meeting Business\' financial obligations of the operations. Plan and execute the preparation and required analysis of the periodic reports i.e. Monthly/Quarterly Management Reports (Revenue and Cost of Revenue) by coordinating the effective syndications with relevant departments for accurate and timely forecasting and variance justifications in accordance with the PSC contract, its ancillary documents and any applicable accounting standards to support and facilitate stakeholders\' decision-making requirements. Plan and execute the preparation for the required analysis towards the development of PSCs Corporate Plan and Budget (CPB) for revenue and its associated cost of revenue including availability of all supporting and related documents and the Revenue and Cost of Revenue accounting through syndications, validation and issuance of Tax Invoices and recognition of the associated costs in compliance to applicable accounting standards and guidelines by coordinating and validating the forecasted numbers in compliance to PSC contract, its ancillary documents, and any applicable accounting standards to ensure alignment and integration with Business\' objectives and strategies and PSC\'s requirements. Organize and coordinate the audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, integrate with the audit focal across regions and KL to ensure that all Information Requests (IRs) are provided to the auditees within agreed timeline and all responses on the audit findings are provided in a timely manner in accordance with PSC Production Sharing Contract (PSC) and JOA Joint Operating Agreement (JOA) provisions and requirements. Qualification: Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting/Finance or any related discipline. Possess professional qualification (ACCA, MICPA, and ICAEW) or advanced degree would be an added advantage. Requirement: Minimum 7-9 years of working experience in Finance and Accounting for oil & gas industry. Experience in financial reporting standards, financial disclosure requirements by Company\'s Act 2016 and BURSA and applicable tax regulations would be an added advantage.
