Job Description

Key Roles & Key Responsibilities :

• To develop strategy and plan for local and overseas projects, purchasing, and inventory activities.
• To handle and ensure the smooth running of new project until mass production
• To be responsible for the execution, analysis, and final reporting of results and recommendations for new components or v.
• Tors develop a strategy and plan for cost-down activities.
• To ensure a high degree of 5s, safety, and security along the purchasing line.
• To perform Vendor Evaluation & Vendor Rating System.
• To develop the EOL System.
• To contributes to the company\'s success by developing and implementing sourcing and procurement strategies and programs to meet company-wide cost-saving objectives.
• To ensure adequate communication with the suppliers for best price and term negotiation evaluate existing and new suppliers\' performance by ranking and selecting based on DEDM standards and requirements as well as ISO9001/ISO14000 requirements.
• To conduct commercial evaluations of potential and existing sources of supply
• To perform vendor auditing and determine alternative materials and approaches.
• To perform commodity hedging if necessary to ensure the best and most stable pricing for raw materials.
• Develop project plans to support the buyers in their projects.
• Manage all project schedules and deadlines according to the company sourcing processes.
• To ensure efficient and effective execution of activities and administration of respective lines.
• To communicate effectively and build relationships inside our organizations.
• To ensure optimum stock accuracy (actual and in the system) through timely and systematic physical count and updating receiving, issuing rejection control, and material transfer.
• To ensure accuracy and on-time update of the purchasing and inventory master data file.
• Identity, source, negotiate and implement sourcing and procurement key cost-saving opportunities resulting in a significant saving to the company in multiple categories of spend
• To update cost down report.
• To communicate with interdepartmental to ensure the EOL flow in order.
• To assist the Material Control Department Manager/HOD in Material Control System development.
• To recruit, train educates and develops his/her team of purchasing and inventory staff.
• To carry out any other duties as directed by the company.

Reporting To: HOD, ProcurementRequirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate or Professional Degree n Business Admin, Economics or any Degree that is equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (Japanese Language is an Advantage)
• Prefer Candidate possesses in Mandarin (To handle and procure parts from China & Taiwan supplier)
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Shah Alam.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably candidates specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• This is a full-time position.
