Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute podcast production plans in line with company goals and brand direction. Collaborate with hosts, guests, and creative teams to conceptualize engaging episode topics. Plan production timelines, release schedules, and resource allocation.

Production Management

Oversee pre-production, recording sessions, post-production, and publishing processes. Manage a team of editors, sound engineers, and production assistants (where applicable). Ensure all episodes meet quality, format, and brand standards.

Audio Editing & Technical Execution

Edit and mix podcast audio using professional software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Logic Pro, or Pro Tools). Ensure sound clarity, consistency, and flow across all episodes. Add sound effects, music, and transitions that enhance storytelling and listener engagement. Troubleshoot technical issues related to recording or editing.

Quality Control & Review

Review final cuts for pacing, tone, and content accuracy before release. Maintain editorial consistency and adherence to company voice and message. Continuously monitor listener feedback and analytics to improve future productions.

Collaboration & Coordination

Work closely with marketing and social media teams for podcast promotion. Liaise with external partners, sponsors, and guests when required. Train and mentor junior producers or editors to improve production efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Production, Journalism, or related field.

Proven experience in podcast production and audio editing

(minimum 3 years preferred). Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong command of

audio editing software

such as Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, or Audacity. Excellent storytelling, editorial, and project management skills. Keen ear for audio quality, pacing, and narrative structure. Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
