Job Description

EXECUTIVE




PROJECT MONITORING SECTION, INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, INFRASTRUCTURE & ASSET MANAGEMENT DIVISION (IAMD), CHANCELLERY



(1016, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur)





KEY ROLES :




Project Tracking




Monitor daily and weekly project progress against the approved work schedule. Update project status reports, including progress photographs and milestone achievements.

Data Collection & Analysis




Collect site data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and highlight potential delays or budget variances. Assist in preparing cost and schedule forecasts.

Site Monitoring




Conduct site visits to verify actual progress, workmanship quality, and compliance with safety standards. Report and document any site-related issues for escalation.

Coordination Support




Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to follow up on outstanding matters. Assist in organizing meetings, preparing minutes, and tracking follow-up actions.

Documentation & Filing




Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date project records. Assist in drafting letters, memos, and project progress summaries.

Administrative Support




Support the project team in procurement processes, claims verification, and payment administration. Track the Defects Liability Period (DLP) and follow up on rectification works.



REQUIREMENTS :




Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Civil & Structural Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or other related fields. Minimum of three (3) years of working experience. Proven experience in project monitoring, project management, and project administration. Prior experience in a Government-Linked Company (GLC) will be an added advantage. Strong technical knowledge with skills in report preparation, project management, communication, coordination, and data analysis. Experience in project and contract management, with sound knowledge in project planning, sourcing, cost estimating, construction and renovation works, mechanical and electrical systems, interior works, as well as civil and structural works. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia. Reliable, meticulous, and highly committed to tasks and responsibilities. Strong interpersonal and time management skills. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Working knowledge of business and data intelligence software. Familiarity with project monitoring tools, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project).
