SUMMARY OF THE ROLEThe Logistics Specialist shall manage, plan and organize the logistics activities and tasks to achieve the overall objectives related to profitability, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, service, and quality.This position will be reporting to the Associate Manager - Warehouse and will be based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.Responsibilities:Plan and optimize transport routes.Handle storage and transportation of in and/or outbound raw materials and finished goods.Execute procedures and guidelines in compliance with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001, JOS, and Jotun\xe2\x80\x99s HSEQ Management system.Executive the shipments from production to the end-user.Track orders using functional systems (e.g., barcodes and tracking software)Coordinate with Warehouse Workers to ensure proper storage and distribution of products.Monitor and report on transportation costs and other relevant KPIs.Ensure shipping documents are properly filed.Organize training sessions for employees (e.g., proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material)Keep organized records of vehicles, schedules, and completed ordersWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFERQualificationsCandidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree, in any field.At least 5 years of working experience in Warehouse.Fluent in English and other languages will be an added advantage.Teamwork spirit and ability to work independently.Personal qualitiesFocuses on bottom-line results, identifies potential risks and monitors the financial impact of own activities.Makes an impact; convinces and persuades others; promotes plans and ideas successfully.Quickly understands and analyzes complex issues and problems; comes up with sound and rational judgments.Demonstrates specialist knowledge and expertise in own area; participates in continuous professional development.Communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively.Adheres to company rules and procedures; executes plans with commitment and determination; achieves high-quality results.What we offerWe are a fast-growing paint and coatings company with proven financial success.Career development encompassing on-the-job experiences and Jotun Academy, our in-house development academy.Best-in-class paint products that are unparalleled in quality.We are a values-driven organization where Respect, Loyalty, Care and Boldness are core to the culture and success of our organization.Relocation support.POSITION INFORMATIONCompany: Jotun Paints (Malaysia) Sdn.
