Job Description

:

? Supervise day-to-day fabrication activities in workshops and/or project sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules.

? Manage and coordinate a team of welders, fitters, and fabricators across multiple disciplines (structural, piping, mechanical).

? Ensure compliance with fabrication drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), and quality standards (ASME, API, ISO).

? Monitor material availability, optimize manpower allocation, and coordinate with the procurement team to avoid delays.

? Inspect fabrication work regularly to maintain high quality standards and resolve technical issues on-site.

? Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and present updates to higher management.

? Ensure implementation of HSE procedures and promote safe working practices within the fabrication area.

? Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections, documentation, and approval of fabricated items.

? Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fabrication efficiency and reduce rework.

Qualifications :

? Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.

? Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fabrication supervision within oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy engineering sector.

? Strong knowledge of fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and codes (ASME, API, AWS, ISO).

? Hands-on experience in supervising structural and piping fabrication works.

? Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

? Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and meet tight project deadlines.

? Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, inspection requirements, and fabrication standards.

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
