Detailed Description

:

• Develops, implements and audits local and governmental compliance programs in Environmental, Health, and Safety areas to provide a healthy and safe work environment.
• Prepares technical EHS operating procedures, training materials, and documentation.
• Coordinates schedules and conducts technical EHS training for employees.
• Ensures compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard.
• Performs compliance audits and recommends corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintains log sheets, inspection records, computer monitoring data, and other record-keeping systems as required by the specific program areas.
• Participates in and provides leadership to safety committees, and coordinates activities of subcommittees in specific areas.
• Documents meetings and implements tracking and reporting methods.
• Provides information and guidance to employees on safety and ergonomic issues.
• Conducts accident/incident investigations to determine the cause.
• Recommends and implements corrective measures, performs repairs, and monitors results.
• Selects and manages contractors and vendors to obtain and maintain safety equipment and supplies.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent and Green Book Holder
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering - Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
• Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, programs, and issues, including ISO 14001 requirements.
• In-depth understanding of facility operations and related issues and requirements.
• Strong record-keeping and project management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external customers.
