We are seeking a competent Facilities Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize building services and infrastructure. The Facilities Engineer ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and civil systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems.
Prepare tenders, RFQs/RFPs, and evaluate vendor proposals.
Conduct inspections, audits, and performance monitoring of building facilities.
Develop maintenance schedules and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Manage contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance, repair, or upgrades.
Assist in renovation, expansion, and facility upgrade projects.
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of all facilities operations.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and facility optimization strategies.
Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, or service disruptions.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering, or Facilities Management.
Minimum 5 years' experience in building or facilities management.
Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, civil).
Competent in project management, procurement process and maintenance planning.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and standards in facilities management.
Working Conditions
Office and building site environment.
May involve after-hours work, on-call duty (if required), or emergency response.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
