Establish and maintain a secure and dependable industrial network to facilitate communication between networked devices, such as PLC-to-PLC and PLC-to-SCADA communication.
Contribute to controls-related aspects of facility expansion and ongoing projects, including generating essential documentation like Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Sequence of Operations, I/O lists, panel drawings, and instrumentation lists.
Gain a thorough understanding of industrial equipment and processes, their operational parameters, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance or maintain associated control and instrumentation hardware and software.
Offer technical support for controls to the 24/7 operations team and ensure project and system compliance with relevant codes, such as the National Electric Code and International Fire Code.

Minimum Requirements:
Possess a Bachelor\'s Degree in an Engineering field, demonstrating an inclination for Controls and Electrical subjects.
At least 5 years of Controls engineering experience.
Show proficiency in working with PLCs and/or SCADA systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Showcase expertise in the application of controls and instrumentation within process systems, such as those related to process cooling water, hot water, air systems, exhaust, chemical/gas distribution, etc.
Demonstrate a track record of success with Siemens, Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley, or WAGO PLCs, encompassing both hardware and software aspects.

Be capable of terminating instrumentation to a controller and performing calibration through the program interface.
Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot alarms, field instrumentation, pneumatic and electric control valves, variable speed drives, and motor starters.
Show experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects.
Be responsive to potentially critical situations, able to conduct swift and accurate assessments, identify the root causes of failures, determine appropriate corrective actions, and promptly implement these corrections to mitigate the impact of system disruptions.
