Detailed Description:
Incumbents are fully qualified to execute job/role accountabilities working independently on most aspects of the job. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Tasks are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required to complete recurring assignments independently and to determine the best methods to follow to complete assignments. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the division\'s/department\'s operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Works under general Supervision. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. May demonstrate work methods to new employees. Builds internal and external relationships, with emphasis on those that facilitate the achievement of job/role accountabilities, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

Assist Facility HOD in installation, repair, maintenance and alteration of production support machineries, equipments and building.

Manage PM work for production support machineries, revise routine facilities inspection and execute corrective measure as required.

Recommend solution and prepare relevant reports to ensure proper selection of outsourced services.

Conduct analysis and propose procurement of facilities services.

Support facilities and technically assist plant in areas of installation, startup, repair, training and modification on power transmission.

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems;

• Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs.

Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.

Monitor and supervise HVAC preventive.

Maintenance contracts;

Respond to emergencies;

Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.

Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems.

Comply with all safety procedures and requirements; \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codes.

Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required;

Attend training sessions and seminars.

Responsible for the PM maintenance, repairing and servicing of all facilities, safety items and equipment including maintaining of all related records and perform proper filling.

Perform operational, preventive maintenance tasks and corrective work as instructed and in accordance with written orders or checklist. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and assist all contractors engaged by the company for any specialist or maintenance works on site.

Perform task independently, safely and within the established man-hour budget. Comply with company rules and regulations and adhered to company standards.

Ensure effective good housekeeping in the workplace. \xe2\x80\xa2 Will assigned as one of the ERT member. \xe2\x80\xa2 Participation in all Team Meeting and Training. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform other duties as assigned.

Facility Engineers also Assist the Facilities Maintenance Manager to operate and maintain the entire facilities system including trouble shooting, maintenance, procurement, asset management & vendor management.

Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Involved in continuous improvement and cost saving project.

To work closely with customer, customer re-preventive, subordinates, vendor & contractor to foster close win-win working relationship. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, utility providers & other relevant authorities/governmental regulatory bodies on matters related to Facilities only .

To ensure comply with safety requirement before, during and after completion of the assigned jobs.

To conduct checking, inspection, calibration and maintenance on all Facilities systems.

Perform routine inspection and carry out proper preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure the plant equipment are being operated in a save and cost effective manner.

Participate in ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned. \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out other work or task as directed by Manager.

Qualifications :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent. Can work independent with minimem supervision.

At least 1-2 year(s) of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role

Advanced skills with ACAD and proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer) \xe2\x80\xa2 Good verbal and written communication skills
