The Exchange TRX is a 17-acre integrated development set to become one of Asia\xe2\x80\x99s leading lifestyle hubs. The mall is a 1.3 million sq ft of next-generation retail space will include a 10-acre rooftop park.

We are looking for build our mall team and would like to invite aspiring individuals to apply for the following role:

Facilities Supervisor (The Exchange TRX)

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible to support the mall\xe2\x80\x99s operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality housekeeping standards. This role requires to monitor the cleanliness of the mall, the attendance of the outsourced workers, and deliver customer satisfaction by always creating clean and conducive environment. Your duties include but not limited to the following:

Assists in the developing of best practices for all housekeeping activities for the mall.

Liaises with the service contractors for cleaning services, pest control services, washroom hygiene services, waste management services, landscaping and etc.

Prepares the outsourced workers monthly duty roster and monitors their attendance.

Supervises outsourced cleaners to ensure their daily duties and tasks are carried out according to the cleaning schedules.

Supervises outsourced landscapers to ensure their daily duties and tasks are carried out according to the plant maintenance schedules.

Manages the solid waste disposal and waste recycling, and ensure it conforms to the waste management plan.

Manages pest control services and activities and ensures they are executed according to schedules.

Performs daily role call and monitors the housekeeping checklist submission on daily basis.

Maintains the stock records for housekeeping consumables and inventory.

Carries out regular patrols, mall walks and checks on the cleanliness of the mall at tip top conditions.

Work closely with Facilities Manager and Facilities Executive and report to them on any non-compliances in the mall.

Assist Facilities Executive in defect reporting process and rectification follow ups.

Prepare reports of systems faults and/or trouble shoot finding for improvement works or insurance purposes

Assist the Building Manager in all building submission i.e. domestic water test, structural inspection, PE endorsement on signage etc.

Requirement

Minimum STPM/Certificate/Diploma qualification in hospitality or property management or equivalent.

Value added additional qualifications from the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc), CERT Academy and Malaysian Environment Cleaning Science (MECSc).

Possess at least 3 years of working experience in mall operations and mall housekeeping.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).

Computer literate and able to operate Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).

Knowledge of local laws and regulations particularly on Food Act 1983, Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007 and Pesticides Act 1974.

Knowledge on cleaning science, cleaning supervisory skills, chemical health risk assessment (CHRA) and the Malaysian Standard (MS 2550:2014) Cleaning Performance are considered as value added.

Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.

Proactive, independent, team player, organised, work under pressure and to meet deadline in multi-tasking environment.

Able to work on rotating shift schedule, weekends and Public Holidays. May require to work overtime based on scheduled and emergency call off support shift or any \xe2\x80\x9cJust In Case\xe2\x80\x9d situations.
