Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. May provide functional guidance to others performing similar work. May be considered the expert in areas assigned. Builds internal and external relationships that require exchanging information and providing some explanations in a problem solving capacity. Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Job Responsibilities: Involve in planning & to carry out preventive maintenance on facilities and building equipment Perform troubleshooting on facilities equipment Carry out daily log and identify potential abnormalities/ abnormalities of facilities equipment Carry out task as assigned by superior Monitor, check and ensure all systems and facilities placed under the care of the Facility are adequately maintained and supported for uninterrupted manufacturing activities Act as a first contact for facilities related issues on 24hrs basis To immediately inform group engineer in-charge on any facility utility or system or equipment operational abnormality for immediate and timely remedial actions and to institute and manage the situation with the implementation of containment measures to prevent situation from worsening or deteriorating Understanding basic concept of HVAC, Compressor, Vacuum, RO DI, IETS, Process Chilled Water, N2, LN2, Building Maintenance, Dock leveller, Lift, Dumbwaiter & Electrical system. Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects. Inspects factory in order to determine electrical maintenance needs. Comply to latest Electrical Act and Regulation To perform / supervise the day to day preventive maintenance Ensure monthly service contract / rounding carried out as per schedule. Perform hands-on routine day to day and preventive / shift maintenance work of as per schedule. To involve in the Energy Saving, Cost saving & Improvement activities. To involve in the Emergency Preparedness and Response team during an emergency. To modify electrical wiring system as and when required. Able to troubleshooting, control wiring, instrumentation wiring. Carry out in-house electrical works including maintenance, inspection and testing as assigned by the management. Ensure that all electrical services are serviceable at all times. Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Job Requirements : Certificate in Electrical, Certified as Chargeman A0/A1/A4 by ST (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) 2 years related experience. Candidate must possess at least Certificate / Diplomain Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering / Maintenance / Mechatronics / Electronics or any others related Engineering course or equivalent. 1-2 years &relevant experience in electronics manufacturing environment is preferred Knowledge of Industrial Engineering standards Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) or equivalent. Candidate with experience in facilities will have added advantage. Candidate must be able to prioritize and manage multi-functional task. Candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure, and against strict time constraint. Candidate must be able to use and manage hand and power tools. Experienced in PM, Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery), or equivalent will have added advantage. Experienced in handling UPS, Fire Suppression System, SSB Panels, Low Voltage. Machine equipment/Electrical/Mechanical maintenance/troubleshooting experience will be an added advantage Hands-on experience in Preventive Maintenance, Routine and Breakdown Maintenance work will be an added advantage Physical Demands Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc. Duties of the position require periodic light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motions, sitting in confined workspaces, using tools and equipment, and moving and handling materials. Duties of the position may require periodic heavy manual effort and exertion including climbing, lifting, pulling and moving objects over 20 pounds.
